A company that cares
We provide a range of service-led solutions to sensitively deliver a variety of care project that our clients can rightly be proud of.
Stepnell has a long history of successfully delivering a variety of projects within the care sector – to date we have delivered over 2,200 beds.
Our care specialists bring their unique perspective to the pre-construction process so that each development is efficient to run and meets the needs of its service users. Through their influence, we have initiated several innovations in the way we work, all of which are aimed at either improving the end product, or improving the customer experience.
Because we understand the product, we can support our clients at all stages of their projects by providing cost certainty and advising value engineering options that don’t affect the final look and feel of their buildings.
We understand what works in differing environments and, where we can, suggest improvements that have a positive impact on operational efficiency and the lives of the people who work and live there.
Our delivery teams have built several care facilities and understand how the final details of the finish make a practical difference to the buildings and services users.
Additionally, our experience includes the provision of a range of care facilities for older people that has incorporated both extra care facilities and specialist dementia care.
Creating buildings to support the performing arts is a genuine team effort. Stepnell understood this from the very start and it was the cornerstone of their approach. The team worked collaboratively and proactively throughout the construction process as we tackled the challenges of working in and around important historic buildings.
Working with Stepnell has been an excellent example of collaborative approach to design and construction where the designers and the contractor have worked in partnership to take a pro-active approach to problem solving and prevention. Stepnell has worked hard to maintain the original design intent and client’s vision for a social care building that provides outstanding facilities and care for an extremely vulnerable client group.
