Jelmac Properties commissioned our Stepnell Property Team to facilitate cut edge repairs on the roof and install a large-scale PV Installation for their building currently leased to LISI Aerospace.

Step Energy were appointed to deliver the project as a turnkey scheme managing the scaffold install, cut edge roof repairs, Electrical infrastructure upgrades and installing a large scale 291 kWp photovoltaic array.

650 x 450W Solar PV panels were mounted on a solid rail system with 3 x 100kw Inverters producing circa 300kw DC.

With a predicted annual energy production of circa 247 MWh. The new system will save an estimated 47.5t of CO₂ emissions, the equivalent of approximately 2,184 trees planted.
