MHR Phases 1 to 6
The delivery of six projects for MHR – the leading talent, management, payroll and business analytics provider
Stepnell has recently been awarded the fifth phase of Nottingham based MHR’s expansion, after successfully delivering the first four phases at their Ruddington site as part of a major expansion scheme set to create a brand new Innovation Centre for the company, trebling their footprint in Nottingham.
The first of our projects for MHR involved the creation of brand new additional office space, as well as a new kitchen and restaurant. The building incorporates a fully functional commercial catering facility for food preparation for all of MHR’s workforce.
Phase 2 works provided MHR with a new two-storey purpose built office building, creating smart and attractive office space for their expanding workforce. The new accommodation provides open plan modern office accommodation enabling MHR to expand their workforce whilst providing a ground floor secure data centre.

Phase 3 works comprised the full refurbishment of Britannia House – an existing two-storey, 2,500m2 office block, creating additional desk space and enhanced working environments for additional employees, as well as the construction of a new entrance, the replacement of the existing roof and thermal improvements to the existing fabric of the building.
Our works for Phase 4 saw the creation of a new on-site 190 space multi-storey car park, featuring dedicated electric vehicle charging facilities and solar panels on the roof.
We are currently on site delivering Phase 5 and 6 works as part of MHR’s masterplan to provide an enhanced working environment for their employees.
“The new car park is an exciting and welcome addition to our headquarters for our employees and it’s good to work again with a trusted partner in Stepnell, a company we have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with on several projects in the past and who have always delivered on our expectations.”
John Mills, Chairman, MHR
