Blease Court
Lymington
The first project delivered under the New Forest District Council four-year Framework
Our works comprised of the refurbishment of a detached property which contained 7 self-contained flat-lets, communal laundry, common room and office in the market town of Lymington.
The project involved both external and internal repairs together with internal alterations to 7 flats within a single building involving minor demolition, partitioning, electrical, carpentry, wet trades, plumbing, glazed tiling, window installation and glazing.
The flats were purchased by the council to be converted into temporary accommodation for homeless people, as part of a plan to reduce the authority’s reliance on using B&B’s for emergency housing. Blease Court will form part of the growing network of similar council owned and managed schemes across the New Forest District.
