Risks in Education
Over and above the construction risks Stepnell work with our Clients to identify holistic project risks such as:
- The building will not promote educational attainment
- Energy consumption will be very high
- The establishment will suffer too much disruption
- Programme will not be met, delaying the School’s operation
- ICT will not integrate into the building or raise attainment
Stepnell’s detailed understanding of the educational sector enables us to identify the appropriate manager for each risk and mitigation or management processes that can be adopted. This is shown in our tenders for Herefordshire Council which include a detailed risk matrix covering all aspects of the project. We have also employed Educational Advisors to help work through some of the risks to ensure that our solutions and mitigation measures are appropriate, workable and don’t create any different risks.
