Quality in Civil Engineering
Achieving high quality on civil engineering projects is critical due to the potential impact on infrastructure and the damaging consequences if a fault occurs. Stepnell’s subsidiary, George Law Ltd. understands this and focuses attention in on the detail of a project to ensure it is buildable and that quality can be maintained. This is demonstrated on a scheme to repair the Severn Valley Railway after a series of landslips that affected the track, structures and waterways. This project demanded high quality on eight different engineering solutions to stabilize and re-profile a long length of track very quickly.
