Stepnell Secures Triple Standards Hat Trick

Stepnell is celebrating achieving a trio of internationally-recognised management system standards at its Rugby head office and sites.

At a special event on 29 September, Mark West from the BSI Group – a global certification body – presented certificates of registration to staff members who helped secure the standards hat trick.

Stepnell, based in Lawford Road, Rugby has recently been awarded certification to the Environmental Management System, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 for Occupational Health and Safety Management. The company already holds certification to ISO 9001 for its Quality Management System.

Strong 'green' credentials
“These important international registrations recognise Stepnell’s commitment to providing our clients with the highest quality of service. Gaining them involved a rigorous assessment of our business management systems and practices,” explains Stepnell best practice manager Karen Ryan. “They demonstrate our long-term commitment to health and safety, quality management and environmental management as an ongoing and integral part of our business. They also make a powerful statement about our ‘green credentials’ and commitment to sustainable business practices.”

Stepnell managing director Mark Wakeford comments: “This is a fantastic achievement resulting from a tremendous amount of hard work by our teams and reflecting a dedication to the highest levels of performance.”

“The management systems adopted by Stepnell demonstrate the company’s commitment to embedding a culture of excellence and providing a solid platform for continuing improvements,” says Mark West, team nanager at BSI. “Stepnell should be rightly proud of its hat trick of achievements.”
