Stepnell is part of the successful consortium appointed as preferred bidder for the South Staffs Fire Stations PFI project. Stepnell will secure £14m of the work on the construction and refurbishment of five fire stations.

Stepnell has started work as principal contractor and design lead on this £20m new Building Schools for the Future Pathfinder. Aimed to have the best possible learning environment for lease environmental impact this new school in being built in very confined working space adjacent to the existing and occupied facilities.

In a tie-up with a doctor’s surgery, the Orders of St. John Care Trust and Brackley Investments, Stepnell Ltd has built a complex on the outskirts of Malmesbury that includes a new Medical Centre with pharmacy, an eighty bed care home with day centre and 28 very sheltered apartments. This development has received high praise and was officially opened by HRH The Prince of Wales in November.

Stepnell’s PFI school’s contract that shows our ability to fund, design, construct and manage a large project with high risks. Stepnell’s technical understanding led to an exemplar design that uses thermal mass and forced ventilation to minimise the energy consumption at the School while delivering.
