Hania Takes on Paper light Job for Carbon-Cutting Stepnell

Hania Knox
Rugby-based construction and civil engineering firm Stepnell has reinforced its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint by recruiting experienced construction professional Hania Knox to oversee its drive to go ‘paper light’.
The company, which has offices in Lawford Road, has appointed Hania, who lives in Rugby, as its enterprise content management administrator. In her new role, Hania will be responsible for implementing and managing 'Horace', a computer content management system which will store all of the company’s documents electronically, improving efficiency and removing the need for hard copy records to be kept. Hania’s appointment is part of Stepnell’s business-wide initiative to cut its carbon emissions by limiting the use of paper to an absolute minimum. She will also provide support to the company’s business development team.
Born in Nuneaton and with a wealth of business development experience, Hania began her construction career as sales and marketing assistant with Warwick-based contractor Crosbee and Atkins and has also held key positions at building firms SOL and Rok.
“I’m delighted to be joining a successful local firm like Stepnell during a very exciting time for the company,” says Hania. “I’m passionate about what I do and I’m looking forward to applying my knowledge and experience to help the company achieve its aim of going ‘paperless’.”
“One of Stepnell’s top priorities is to reduce its carbon footprint and the new system is an important part of that strategy,” says Stepnell managing director Mark Wakeford. “We’re very pleased that Hania has chosen to join us. I’m confident that her expertise in paperless systems will prove invaluable to our business.”
