Long Term Relationships
As a regional contractor Stepnell understands very well the benefits of long term relationships with both our contractors and our supply chains if we are to consistently deliver better value on successive projects.
Stepnell is very pleased to continue working with Hereford Council on their second secondary school to be built in over sixty years, after successfully completing Whitecross High School in Hereford in June 2006. This continuation of a working relationship enables both sides to understand an individual’s approach, abilities and authorities - all of which allows a successful relationship.
Whitecross High School was a very successful project for both Hereford Council and the Stepnell supply chain. It was only natural therefore that the bulk of the supply chain would be asked to join the Minster Project. This allows relationships and knowledge formed at Whitecross to benefit The Minster, and for appointments to be made with a good understanding of risk transfer and expectations.
