The Measurement of Integration
A key element required to demonstrate the business case is the ability to define how well integrated a supply chain is on a particular project. If this is achieved, then it is possible to record the business success or otherwise on a project, relative to this measurement of integration.
The Integration Task Group has identified six attributes of an integrated team and defined six levels of integration relative to each attribute. This tool then allows the measurement of integration on a project.
Initially this tool will be used to measure integration on the ten Demonstration Projects, however the Group hope that the tool can be used within a team to determine the optimum level of integration when undertaking a project or elements within a project.
