As of November 2009 – “Fire Support” have been elected as ‘Principal Contractor” in the PFI (Private Finance Initiative) proposal to design, construct and maintain 10 new Fire Stations in Staffordshire.
Stepnell Ltd are one of the founding parties of the ‘Fire Support’ Consortium and will undertake project management, design and construction of 5 no of the new Fire Stations.
Purpose designed 21st Century Fire Stations including training facilities and Community Support Facilities at 5 locations:-
- Tamworth (Whole Time) - 1.919 m² GIFA
- Uttoxeter - 833 m² GIFA
- Stafford - 458 m² GIFA
- Cannock - 521 m² GIFA
- Tamworth (Response Base) - 521 m² GIFA
