Stepnell is developing 41 apartments and 9 bungalows in a very sheltered housing scheme in Gloucestershire. Stepnell has seen the whole process through from negotiations to buy the site, including arrangements for the previous occupier to benefit from the occupation of one the bungalows, through planning, detailed design to construction and onto sales to the public. Building on recent experience developing very sheltered housing (also described as Extra Care apartments), Stepnell has improved the design to maximise efficient use of space resulting in high quality, large apartments. Each apartment and bungalow has been designed with the user in mind and has subtle features to aid day to day living and the lifestyle of the residents. Built by our own construction team, Stepnell has ensured a high degree of quality through out the build project and we have been in a position to amend and improve the design as the works have progressed.
