Case Study - Lord Williams School (2) 200

This scheme was carried out under the Oxford County Council Partnering Framework where Stepnell were employed as partnering contractor to provide a new two and single storey science block extension linked to an existing steel frame building. It comprised a part steel frame and traditional masonry wall structure with a “kingzip” metal cladding roof. The work was carried out within the constraints of a live secondary school campus and continued around the summer exam periods. Stepnell worked very closely with Mouchel Parkman (OCC Design and Project Management team) through the design development stages to ensure the scheme did not leave any unmeasured risk items that could be passed on as an unforeseen cost to the construction stage.
